Will anyone be in the house when I get there?

Upon your arrival in the area you will contact the house manager. The manager will open the property for you and give you the keys. He will give a brief tour of the home and explanation of the operating systems, pool and spa.

What is provided for my stay?

The house is fully furnished with all bedding and linens, swim towels, kitchen linens, dishware, serving pieces and cookware. A partial list of utensils include cutting knives, coffee maker, teapot, mixer, waffle maker, blender, BBQ tools etc.

What services are provided?

The home will be serviced twice a week by the pool service and once a week by a gardening service. Local phone calls are unlimited. Trash pick up is provided once a week.

What about cleaning service?

Your rental fee includes a twice a month cleaning service which provides a change of all linens and over all cleaning. There are extra linens in the home as well. (The day of the week of the cleaning will be negotiated between both parties) If you would like additional cleaning service that is negotiable.

Will the pool be heated?

The pool and spa are equipped with heaters and can be heated to a maximum temperature of 103 degrees. The renter is required to pay all utilities and the cost of heating the pool and spa are the responsibility of the renter. You have the choice to have the pool heated for your arrival.

What about use of Lake Santo Tomas?

The lake is to be used by manually powered or electric vessels only (these are not provided). If you have an interest we can provide you with the contact information for a captain who may have electric boats available on an hourly basis for a fee. There is no swimming in the lake.

What if something needs repair?

You will be given a contact number for the house manager. Any problems should be brought to his attention.

Where are the nearest grocery markets?

There are a number of markets within a few mile radius. From Costco and Statler’s to Pavilions, and Jensens to Bristol Farms, it is easy to find a market nearby.

Why is Rancho Mirage called the city of President’s?

From inception in 1973, the city has hosted every US President and British and “American royalty”. Prince Charles visited the city in 1974. President Gerald Ford purchased a home in 1977 and lived his final years in our city. As for American royalty Frank Sinatra and Barbara Marx were married and lived in the area, establishing the Frank Sinatra Children’s center. And who doesn’t recognize the Bob Hope Classic as a world renowned gold tournament?

Is it safe to drink the water?

Absolutely, but we recommend trying the wine too!
